Warm Ham Sandwiches with Mustard Poppy Dressing

I usually try 3-4 new recipes every "recipe cycle" (basically I plan out all my recipes for half a month because John gets paid twice a month). We only keep recipes that we all love. Needless to say, it's been a while since I've added a recipe to my book. This was a good week for recipes though. I was surprised by how good these were; they seemed to simple. John usually doesn't like mustard on his sandwiches (just Sonny's sauce - weirdo!). He loved these too.

Warm Ham Sandwiches with Mustard Poppy Dressing

1/3 cup butter softened
1/3 cup mustard
1/2 cup dried minced onion
2 tsp poppy seeds
rolls (or your preferred bread)
deli ham
swiss cheese

Combine butter, mustard, onion, and poppy sides. Spread over both sides of rolls. Put ham and cheese on bottom halves; replace tops. Wrap each sandwich in foil. Bake at 350 deg. for 6-10 minutes. NOTE: I found that the dressing was enough for 12 sandwiches but I used smaller rolls. Also, I tried these in the toaster oven and they worked great.

this sounds good! think i'd like it even if i'm not a big swiss cheese fan? i wonder if i could replace it with another cheese...
